Synopsis
Linus Baker, a lonely and meticulous caseworker for the Department in Charge of Magical Youth, spends his days evaluating orphanages for children with extraordinary abilities. His quiet, predictable life is upended when he’s assigned to a highly classified case: an orphanage on a distant island housing six dangerous and magical children, including a boy who may be the Antichrist.
As Linus arrives at the house in the cerulean sea, he meets Arthur Parnassus, the charming and enigmatic headmaster who fiercely protects his wards. Over time, Linus discovers that these children are not as threatening as they seem—instead, they are vulnerable, misunderstood, and profoundly unique. Through their stories and his growing bond with Arthur, Linus learns to challenge his own prejudices, embrace love, and see the beauty in difference.
With warmth, humor, and a touch of magic, The House in the Cerulean Sea is a heartwarming tale of acceptance, found family, and the courage it takes to create a home for everyone.
